A FEW QUICK ANSWERS

Before you get started.

Is compress images free?

Yes. This tool is free to use, with no account, trial or subscription required. Paid M.I.A.I apps are optional.

Which image formats can I use?

JPG, PNG, SVG and GIF. Compression depends on the source. If an optimised file is larger, we keep your original. GIF animation is preserved.

Are my images uploaded?

Image files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to M.I.A.I. The HTML URL option sends the public URL to our server to retrieve its static page content. Processing components may download when you first use a tool.

How many images can I process?

Up to 10 files at a time, 20 MB per file and 60 MB per batch. Output is limited to 24 million pixels; animations have additional frame limits. Large files may take longer on mobile devices.
